Some mummy friends and I went along to the Stay, Play and Learn session this morning at Swings and Smiles in Thatcham and were pleasantly surprised. The venue was fairly spacious with lots of toys and... sensory equipment which our toddlers loved. Large outside area with trikes and play equipment, balls and water to splash around in. Plenty to do and no incidents. Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere. I thought it great that fresh fruit and breadsticks were also provided as snacks for the children. Bargain for £1 entry (they should charge more!) and we will definitely return and recommend to others.

I have also hired toys via the Hubs toy library for a birthday party and again was really pleased with the whole process, the array of toys available and the price (again very cheap!). Staff very helpful and I was amazed that this service even existed. Will certainly use again in future.

Used the toy library to get extra items for our sons 3rd birthday party, so easy to order, collect and drop off and so reasonably priced, they were a great hit at the party

The Children's Centre at Chieveley (and outreach group in Hermitage) have been invaluable since the birth of our son.
