I first stepped in this Hotel reading the name to be honest… Hotel Sahyadri – Swad Kokancha (meaning aroma of the Konkan region). What followed was sheer torture, mockery of the Konkan area which gives so many delicious dishes with their unique preparations.
When it comes to street food, we look at healthy options so as to keep ourselves away from any possible harm the Street Food may cause. While eating Vada Pav, most of us think the same and wish we had a healthier version which would not worry us so much. So here is a small twist in the original recipe to give you the same taste of the Street Food and yet maintain the health factor.

The most awaited post for some of my friends..
The winter special done my way with a twist. Healthy main course dish in winters for all. I tried cooking this in the traditional way by using an earthen Pot and mashing with a Pav Bhaji Masher rather than using a mixie. It is painful and time consuming since I slow cooked it for over 4 hours, but the results were awesome. Enjoy this dish and let me know how it turned out.
The Purple Truck is the second Food truck I saw in Navi Mumbai. It is generally parked near the crowded areas of Hiranandani, Central park and other prominent areas. It serves veg and Non Veg Burgers and Rolls with some catchy names. This food review happens only because I wanted to taste the new launch.

A favorite of most of the foodies, this originated from kashmir, moved over to Bengal prominently in 1790 and eventually the rest of India. Now of course it has found a spot in the Indian cuisine and is a hot favorite in most Buffet parties. I have re-created the same recipe with small changes to bring out the spice and flavors more prominently in my Kitchen. Enjoy..
Khanabadosh is the first Food truck of Navi Mumbai. It is generally parked near the Jalvayu Bus Depot of Kharghar and serves Pure veg North Indian food. This food review happens only because I wanted to taste the new launch. The owner Mr. Dev Tiwari has done an extensive research over 8 months before launching this concept and has started a venture called Khanabadosh Foods Pvt Ltd. He is present at the joint most of the times and gives a personal touch to the menu suggestion for food bloggers like me.
