Sometimes lightning photography can be very difficult. But when the storm goes on for several hours it's impossible to NOT get a shot!

Love studying a diamond python, especially a healthy 2m long one like this.
One mans larvae is another man's breakfast. Or something like that. For the record, the ant managed to escape the jumping spider with the larva. But it was a tense moment.

I've had the privilege of having a gorgeous little Grey Fantail show me how a nest is built using moss and spider web. An absolutely perfect fit is ensured by a feathery bottom being routinely squished into position!
