I love this place , i came in once to get a sammich and a beer , some bearded guy named Mike behind ...the counter asked me if i wanted my sammy extra nice , i said "I sure the shit do"! Next thing i know i got this amazing sandwich with extra fixings, then they drove me to do my errands, gave me compliments, read me poetry, and did my taxes for me... I guess this place is full service, too bad some fucking assholes bought the neighborhood and decided we needed more over priced condo's .... I hope the Flowers guys find a new home some day... I couldn't even get in the building because the doors and windows were all boarded up. I'm not sure ...if this is like an elitist hipster way to run a bottle shop or what. I hope someone puts a Total Wine at the bottom of one of these luxury condos so I don't have to deal with all the hipsters and their hipstery hipsterness. See More
Don't get me wrong. It's nice having a well represented beer and wine selection available on Roosev...elt Row, but it's the gigantic Boar's Head hoagies that puts this shop on my list of favorite places. They are happy to let you order "off the menu" and build your own combination. I put together my own PoBoy combo including bologna, spicy soppressata, ham and provolone. Shredded lettuce, onion, tomato, and cherry peppers with olive oil and vinegar to top it off. This basic combo on their huge torpedo roll creates a sandwich that dreams are made of. See More

To our loyal customers: In just a few weeks we'll be shutting down the store for a while during the building remodelling. We'll be selling the remainder of our stock, but please call to verify hours as they'll be sporadic as we get closer to the final day. There are a lot of good beers left and some great wines! That's a wrap! We're officially moved out of the building that for years the neighborhood called "the flowers building".
We sold a lot of craft beer and custom made deli sandwiches to you. We intend to do so again in the future once we find a reasonable location to do so. Until then, please support your local, independent craft beer shops like Kings Convenience on Central & Thomas.
