Autumn riding peddle car at a local Halloween Festival

Hello everyone, I have had members ask for a web site. For my work with foreign exchange work this is the web site. No other exchange web sites are affiliated with this site

Hey everyone,

for those that don't know, my friend Erin Clemens is an autism advocate in PA. She is asking for volunteers to help her in any way possible. Some things you can do are getting the word out, helping her with her sites, organizing and scheduling events. I may am going hold an online volunteer orientation soon for those That what to do more

Screw Depression

National Prevention Week is an annual health observance dedicated to increasing public awareness of, and action around, substance abuse and mental health issues.... This observance is an opportunity to join with other individuals, organizations, and coalitions in your community to promote prevention efforts, educate others about behavioral health issues, and create and strengthen community partnerships.

Through our choices, we can set an example of health and well-being for others. With our voices—whether spoken or written—we can raise awareness of behavioral health issues and help create healthier and safer communities.

John Bowen Brown and his wife's experience with Foreign Exchange Students and Host families

I was just looking through this page. I miss our host kids. We are particularly going to miss them through the holiday season

There is a family event for kids on July 6, and we don't have a kid to take with us . We miss our host kids

AYUSA, the organization that sponsored our two host daughters is some kind of something. For one, the President of AYUSA, a nonprofit organization, makes $150,000 a year. And they had the gall to lay off people this year, a position that reimbursed local leaders for taking kids on educational outings. It not a charity in action. Its a business. My wife and I have decided to take a year off from hosting for other reasons, but when we decide to host again, we will not choose AYUSA, or most of these hosting organizations because the majority of them do the same things. We need a real charity hosting organization where board members are not making money at these kids expense. Kris and I have even discussed the idea of starting one ourselves. I have read the requirement for starting one. In the meantime do not promote AYUSA. Thanks

Autumn's plane tool off at 5:20 am this morning

Tomorrow is actually Ah-reum's (Autumn's) last day with us. We have to take her to the airport at 3 am Wednesday morning
We are going to take a year off, and maybe host a student for the 2013/2014 school year
