What an amazing collection of stuff from every form of transport as well as the rich history of planes trains and automobiles in the great state of Colorado. It is a little hard to find at the moment ...due to construction in the area, but well worth it! There ought be a Denver BCycle at the museum the better to be able to bike there! See More

My family and I have been to Forney Museum several times and enjoy it every time.
We just love the matchbox collection and always do that first then check out "BIG BOY" Steam locomotive. We love trai...ns. So much history. They have "Everything on Wheels" from motorcycles to bicycles to a fabulous car collection including the beautiful Rolls Royce and Bentley. I especially loved the car Amelia Earnhardt drove. I felt old when I saw bicycles I rode in a museum but it brought back so many childhood memories. The ticket price for the museum is reasonable. It takes about 2 hours on average to go through it. I have been coming to the Forney since I was a kid and it was over at the old Tramway building. I haven't been there in a while but a lot of the cars brought back great memories. I'm very pleased to... have my '49 MG TC race car as a part of the MG exhibit that just rolled in the other day. I hope people enjoy seeing these great cars. See More

I'm Californian car fanatic & I was highly impressed with the collection that was displayed at the museum. I read the great reviews & decided to check it out myself.
Wide variety of vehicles, trains,... planes, bicycles, motorcycles & the low rider collection.
I enjoyed my visit here & would recommend it!
Thank you for having us.

I am a member of the Forney Museum. It took a lot longer to get checked in at the front desk than what it should have when the front desk associate was only helping me and no other customers was ther...e. I went to see the low rider exhibit. I looked at the cars and they were nice but thought there should have been more. See More

Really well done! I love the new building and location. I know they moved here years ago but I'd never visited the new site! My kids are middle school aged and loved getting to see the old cars in par...ticular! Matter of fact they wanted to return the very next day :) See More

The museum is awesome. Trains planes trollies and cars. Add a touch of Hollywood and it just doesn’t get any better than that!

As you walk through this place, you will be bombarded with a million and one posters, notes and signs with some sort of rule on it.
No running! No jumping! No yelling! No touching! No looking! No bre...athing! No talking! No walking!
No enjoying anything at all!
There were no touch signs *on* the actual no touch sign itself.
There was a locked train cart (that said no entering, even though the doors were already locked) yet on the inside, the chairs had signs that said "no sitting on these chairs!"
One of the employees followed us throughout the museum which I found very uncomfortable. (Rule enforcement employee?) Anyway, my kids and I didn't get kicked out thankfully, but it's hard to enjoy yourself when you feel like every step you take is wrong, and if your child so much as giggles out loud, you might all get kicked out.

I did think it was really nice they had a coloring space for kids though. Although this area had 50 rules to follow as well.
The entire time, I had a big urge to run, jump, and yell, but I also felt very very wrong for being alive here in this museum.
My senior citizen dad had a fantastic time though. Thumbs up from him.
If you're a crotchety old human being, this is the place for you. But don't take your transportation loving children here (even if they're well behaved) because they're basically wrong for even existing in that place.

The collection includes a couple trains and lots and lots of old cars as well as some odds and ends such as an ultralight, an airplane, and a helicopter.

If you have and interest or just enjoy seeing old vehicles, then this is a place to see. For me a little time would not have done. If we had not committed to other things I probly would have stayed l...onger. Taking photographs was great. Unfortunately they do not allow tripods and the lighting almost dictate a tripod. Still got some good shots. The bonus though, is the little bits of history that are part of this exhibit. I will go back. I live in Phoenix, AZ See More

If you appreciate any part of how far the transportation we use has evolved, this place is worth the trip. After watching a good number of American Pickers shows, I appreciated the Indian Motorcycles..., and some of the iconic cars. See More

Auto selection is impeccable and very well laid out. Only a few pieces of rolling stock but they are very good selections. One piece could use a good amount of work but all the others hold significant value.
