A suspect is in custody after breaking into a home and engaging in u...nlawful sexual contact.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on June 4, 2020, Fort Collins Police responded to a burglary call on Vivian Court. An unknown male suspect had forced entry into a home and touched a female victim in bed. The victim fought back, at which time the suspect fled on foot.
Officers searched the area and located the suspect, later identified as Luis Partida-Perez, 31, hiding nearby. He was taken into custody and arrested on charges of Unlawful Sexual Contact (class 1 misdemeanor) and Second Degree Burglary (class 3 felony). A booking photo is not available for release at this time.
"The invasion of home and privacy leaves a lasting impact on victims," said Sgt. Heather Moore, who leads the Crimes Against Persons Unit. "I'm grateful for the rapid response of officers who quickly apprehended this suspect so he can be held accountable."
Detectives are concerned that additional victims may exist. Anyone with information about this or other unreported incidents are asked to contact Detective Dollie Knab at 970-416-2195. People who wish to remain anonymous may also contact Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868 or www.stopcriminals.org.
All charges are simply an accusation by law enforcement officers, and any arrested party must be presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. Mehr anzeigen
