I was busy today. I also whipped up something for The Chicago Sports Column about the Chicago Blackhawks.
I examine the case of RFA to be Anthony Duclair and wonder whether or not Stan Bowman should offer the forward a bit of term.
I don't think Ken Holland is getting enough credit for the good trades he's made for the Detroit Red Wings over the last few seasons.
My latest from Wings Nation.
Greetings everyone. With the Pittsburgh Penguins advancing to the second round, I take a look at just how hungry they looked against the Philadelphia Flyers in round one.
My latest from The Hockey Writers.
Greetings everyone. Hope you're having a great night so far. Just wanted to pass along my latest post from The Chicago Sports Column.
On Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews and why having a long summer might not be the worst thing for him.
Check it out, and let me know what you think down below or in the comments section. Thanks!
Here's my latest column from Wings Nation. Drop us a "like" if you haven't yet, and check out my post about Mike Green... and why Ken Holland (probably) shouldn't re-sign him.
Happy Thursday everybody. Here's my latest post from The Hockey Writers; it's on the Pittsburgh Penguins and how they can't sleep on the Philadelphia Flyers despite dominating in Game 1.
The Detroit Red Wings decided to keep Jeff Blashill around as head coach in 2018-19... but I can't help but wonder how short his leash will be.
Check out my thoughts over at Wings Nation, and give us a follow.
Hey, everyone. Here's my latest post from The Hockey Writers. It's about Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Matt Murray, and how he could possibly add to his legacy during the NHL playoffs.
Check it out, share it if you like it and feel free to chime in the comments down below.
Sorry I have been so awful about sharing my work on here for the last month or so. I'll do my best to improve. That being said... here's my latest column for FanRag Sports Hockey.
On the Tampa Bay Lightning entering a potentially season-defining stretch of play over the next few weeks. Check it out!!
I know a lot of people -- myself included -- have been impressed by various players on the Winnipeg Jets roster. Somehow it seems like Nikolaj Ehlers has flown under the radar just a bit.
But fear not. I'm here to show him some love. My latest from FanRag Sports Hockey.
Greetings, everyone. Here is my latest post from FanRag Sports Hockey. On Alexander Radulov and just how good he's been for the Dallas Stars so far this season.
"Radulov isn’t just a ball of intangibles who occasionally finds the back of the net. He’s been an outstanding possession player for the Stars who has helped their offense whenever he is on the ice. Among the 162 forwards who have played at least 400 minutes this season, Radulov’s CF% is good for 25th."
Just how good has Anze Kopitar been for the Los Angeles Kings? Real, real. As it turns out. My latest for FanRag Sports Hockey.
My latest post for FanRag Sports Hockey examines just how good Noah Hanifin has been for the Carolina Hurricanes since the beginning of November.
"Things can evolve quickly in the NHL, though, and while the prospect of trading the 20-year-old perhaps made sense in October or early November, it doesn’t anymore. Hanifin has arguably been the Hurricanes’ best defenseman over the last four or five weeks — no short order on a roster that includes Jaccob Slavin and Brett Pesce — and is finally looking like the player the Hurricanes thought they were drafting in 2015."

I've seen a lot of people on NHL Twitter calling for Nick Leddy to be in more Norris Trophy conversations.
In my latest for FanRag Sports Hockey, I examine his case and break down his rise in New York this year. Check it out!
Here's my latest post from Medium. Believe it or not, the idea struck me while listening to a Gary Vaynerchuk bit on YouTube while doing the dishes.
"This is why I’ve decided to do something for the next year (plus one month) that I’ve never done before: I’m going to take things the way that they come. I’m not just talking about, for the first time in my adult life, trying pickles, lettuce and tomatoes on my cheeseburgers.
I’m talking about everything."
"While Sheahan may or may not be a solution for the rest of this season and beyond, he’s been playing his best hockey of the last two seasons over the last handful of games. He famously went an entire year between goals in Detroit, failing to score in 2016-17 until the final game of the season."
My latest post from FanRag Sports Hockey. On Riley Sheahan finding his way with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
