#SheSafeWeSafe is BYP100’s national campaign to end the violence that Black women and girls, both cis and trans, as well as gender non-conforming people, experi...ence every day at the hands of the state and within our own communities. Today we are honoring our Black queer feminist ancestors and future generations by committing to creating inventions to violence that don’t rely on the police and re-allocating police funding to community-determined programs that address gender-based violence in Black communities.
