I literally cannot say enough about Martha and everything she did for my wedding at Burdoc Farms on October first of this year. I live in Indiana so getting married in Kentucky was a bit stressful si...nce I did not know many vendors. Martha met with me very early on to discuss flowers and options for my wedding and from the first time I met her, I knew that I had found the most perfect person to work with. Martha is one of the sweetest and most talented people that I have ever met. I did not give Martha anything too specific when it came to flowers and always told her that I wasn't too picky and that I loved all kinds of flowers that would be related to a fall wedding. I also told her that I was riding a horse in the wedding and she even went above and beyond to make the most beautiful necklace of flowers for the horse. Martha went above and beyond to keep in contact with me and I swear the day of my wedding, I cried when she brought in our flower arrangements and especially my bridal bouquet. The arbor that she decorated as well was so beautiful and made our pictures just even more gorgeous! I highly, highly recommend Martha for your wedding flowers. She will not disappoint and to find someone that is so incredibly sweet and talented is a rare find in my opinion. I will post pictures of our wedding when I get them! Thank you Martha for everything you did for us to make our wedding so special and beautiful!! Love Kayla and Jc Johnson See More

Many of the perennial plants in my gardens are from the folks at Martin Farm. I love talking shop with them at the Farmer's Market in downtown Hopkinsville on Saturday mornings. I especially like homemade jams. I am particularly fond of their Elderberry Jam and their Black Currant Jam ~ but I buy some of each variety to tide me over through the Winter months. I love their flowers too, which I usually buy a few stems at a time of late in the Summer ~ of various flower types that I do not have in my own gardens. See More

Picked up a couple of jars of your (most unique) jellies. Gave one as a Hostess gift (so didn't get to taste) but if it is anything like the one I kept, I am your new best fan. I pride myself on my ...use of herbs, etc, but your Rosemary Apple jelly was superb! A must enter into competition at the next State Fair! Looking forward to an outing to Cadiz. See More

Once you try the Martin Farms jellies you will NEVER buy commercially prepared jelly again. I have tried several varieties of their jelly for myself ( I am a toast and jelly junkie for breakfast) and ...I have given their 3 pack away as gifts. David and Martha know how to make jelly from their homegrown fruits. I missed the blackberry jelly last year, when the fruit is gone and the jelly is all sold, that is the end of the story--until next year's crop! See More

Martha provided the bouquet, boutonniere, centerpieces and cake flowers for my wedding and reception. Her work was incredible! I searched Pinterest to find pictures of how I wanted the tables to loo...k. I sent those to Martha, so she could get an idea of what I liked. She told me that the arrangements that I was picking out where way over my budget. However, she was able to stay within my budget and create table arrangements that were prettier than any of the pictures that I found online! The tables could not have been better suited to my personal taste, and I could not have been more pleased with how pretty I thought they looked. Everything, including the cake, bouquet, and boutonniere, was absolutely beautiful. Not only that, but when the reception had to be moved indoors, Martha went above and beyond by helping to arrange everything inside of the house. See More

Martha provided us with outstanding peonies for my daughter's wedding. I had looked at a wholesale florist and the blooms were much smaller. Martha worked very hard to fill our order and gave written ...instructions on how best to keep them. We are 100% happy customers and recommend Free Range Flowers to all our friends and family! FANTASTIC!!! The decorations, bouquets, flower petals, bouts, and arch all turned out PERFECT!! They went way above my expectations. I would highly recommend Martin Farms!:)
Only a few Saturday farmers markets until the end of October! The dahlias and zinnias are hot, hot, hot! What are you waiting for? Come to market in the morning. Take advantage of one of your last chances at fresh, local flowers for the season. We'll keep them coming until the first frost or October 28th, which ever comes first!

We have our first employee! So excited to welcome Jackie Shepard Blankenship to FRF on the weekends! She weeds, she does arrangements, helps with weddings and washes buckets! I’m happy, she’s happy, we’re all happy!!!

Oh my. Anemones. Our first blooms of the coming spring. They send up a few “test blooms” and the big flush comes later. I guess they check things out for their siblings. Nice. There are buds on the Bleeding Hearts and Lenten Roses. Spring is coming!
