Moved up here from Homestead in '15 to retire. Found a fabulous value right on the beach....and I just enjoyed that Horseback ride featured in the pic! Love Ft. Pierce downtown; nice dining, nice nat...ure and fishing boat rides, nice farmers/craft market. Happy! See More

We LOVE Ft Pierce!! so much so that we decided to build a house on Indian River Drive. After we bought the lot however we were horrified to see how reckless the drivers on this road are. I've never se...en anything like it! They either need to put in some very needed stop signs~ or enforce the speed limit! I fear if they don't someone will get hurt or worse killed. That said! we can't wait to move into our new digs!! Ft Pierce is the best! We just hope they will address this issue. See More

First time living in Fort Pierce for 3 months .... Loved the place .... this is not a critic but a question ..Is there a sign or something advising people (tourists) that there are beautiful peacocks... roaming the streets around Orange and 7th Avenue .... We did not know that these beautiful birds were on the loose ... what a wonderful addition to this city :) See More

Love the walk way with the palm trees over looking the water. Good food at The Tiki with the live music and the cool breeze blowing. Lots of T.V"s with different football games playing. The Manatee Mu...seum has several fish tanks with fishes, snakes, starfishes and exotic sea creatures. The manatees migrate there during the winter months. You can sit on the wall and watch them. Overall we had an Awesome day in down town Fort Pierce. See More

My husband and I live in Fort Pierce, moved here from Michigan four years ago, and we love it! What we love most about Fort Piece is how close it is to the ocean, the friendly people and the many thi...ngs to do and see! I love the fact that it is very rural and yet only a few miles from our home to downtown Fort Pierce and the marina! My husband is a First Mate on the boat called "The
Gator" that visitors or locals can ride and see Dolphins and other marine life up close and personal! Fort Pierce is truly a hidden gem in Florida, and known for it's wonderful fishing worldwide.

I bought a condo here two years ago and am proud to say became a resident this year. Fort Pierce is a lovely city with so much to offer with great shopping, eating and beaching. The one draw that I the most is how rural it is with plenty of cows and horses and open land and may I add uncongested road ways! Hats off to the people who manage and run the City of Fort Pierce! Thank you See More

Just stopped by City Hall to remember some of the great old times I was fortunate to have experienced there. Wow! What a surprise. Instead of a greeting on the double door entry there are "Security No...tice" postings. "No sunglasses, hats, or weapons allowed in the building. Large bags and backpacks are subject to search." Two police officers asking me what I am doing there. How times have changed. Very sad. See More
