How are donations received?
If you create a fundraiser for a nonprofit, the nonprofit will receive donations directly from Facebook or from Network for Good. If you create a fundraiser for a personal cause (ex: to cover medical bills or tuition), you'll receive weekly payments after linking your bank account.

How do taxes work?
Donations to US 501(c)(3) nonprofits are typically tax-deductible. On the other hand, donations to personal fundraisers are not typically tax deductible.

How do fees work?
The fee for personal donations is 6.9% + $.30. Fees for nonprofit donations range from 5% to 5.75%. All fees cover payment processing, operations and fraud protection.

Yes. To donate privately, select "Only me" from the privacy menu in the donation form.
