Remember community meeting is 6.30pm tonight at the GQ methodist church on Garden Lane. We're looking for ideas and feedback on how we should spend our section 106 money. Plus here are the minutes from the AGM. https://docs.google.com/…/1BYwpwmcJ0k4JmUUB0ZyPOzN7rV…/edit…
Second attempt at meeting up to get the ball rolling on new events for 2018. So far the calendar is bare (apart from the Christmas market but that update can wait for another day!) so all ideas welcome!
💡Last call for ideas. And don’t forget the public meeting on 5th March to begin taking them further.
☕️ Councillor Bob Rudd will be holding one of his regular surgeries at the Garden Lane Uniting Church on Saturday 3rd March, 10.30-12. It’s also a community coffee morning so you can grab cake and a cuppa at the same time.
🗯 You can still have your say.
We will begin formulating your responses in a week’s time ready for the meeting on March 5th.
Ideas submitted so far include...
🚮 more bins (please specify locations)
🎨 a community art space...
🏋🏻♂️ outdoor gym equipment to complement the improved play facilities
Our current plan can be seen here https://goo.gl/AbKUlr and was developed 2 years ago. Since then we have been working on the plan and have implemented many of the ideas that were suggested. We now have a chance to update the plan and CWAC has informed us they have roughly £100k of section 106 money that was paid by developers.
If you have any ideas now please fill in the form here https://goo.gl/forms/MEOCbsFg3uR6WwWV2
