Systematic review of publications on effect of gender transition on well-being. Of 56 studies, 93% found that gender transition improves well-being, and 7% report mixed or null findings. NO studies found that gender transition causes overall harm.
Trans Wellbeing is a service of SHINE SA, funded through the Adelaide Primary Health Network located at Hyde Street Practice in the Adelaide CBD, providing non-...urgent counselling for gender diverse people. The service also provides telephone/enquiry peer support, case management and volunteer peer support for people who are transgender, gender diverse and gender questioning, their family members, partners and personal supports, as well as professional supports.
