This piano was the best on the tour so far at the Ruigoord Poetry Festival. I heard some incredible poets that day, after being Bruged. Thanks for having me Valentijn Steenhuis!

Unfortunately I have to cancel my show tonight in Rode Pimpernel in Den Bosch. I lost my voice, probably due to a heavy shower that caught me in Bruges yesterday. I'm very sorry, but I'm sure I will be in perfect order for the remaining shows of this tour, which will resume from Saturday in Workum.

Amsterdam...the city where I fall in love every 5 minutes. After I play Brugges, I'm playing Ruigoord just outside Am'dam this Mon, June 9, at 8pm closing out their Poetry Festival for those that missed me at Kapitein Zeppos this week. Toda...y, Mike of Mike's Bike Tours Amsterdam & I were biking through the city's beautiful sun lit canals after an art gallery show & we ran into the QE. I'm off to Brugges, Belgium tomorrow to perform at The Bauhaus Hall at 8pm. www.bauhaus.be Here are a few pics I just found from this tour including a lekker pic at De Cerck in Beilen, one with a chicken and another with Bob Ross at Rollende Keukens in Amsterdam's Westerpark (park). See you Saturday night, Brugges!
Sacco Koster took this pic through the window of Belien's De Cerck. For those that don't speak Dutch, 'Lekker' is a word for delicious & other things you like and savor. I'm sorry we couldn't go out with you girls after the show! Next time!
A pic Sacco took at the Rollende Keukens in Amsterdam where I performed on the 'sausage stage'. Here, I am with a chicken and a sign that says "kip it real". Kip means chicken in Dutch, and if any of you know me, I don't eat birds. I'll tell you why sometime. Also, I was named after a hitchhiker named Kip Gentry. I seriously don't make this sh*t up.

I'm delighted to return to De Groene Zwaan in De Rijp to perform tonight at 9pm! I'm sorry Nijmegen, but tomorrow's Sunday concert at Galerie Zeven Zomers has been canceled - I hope to play there during the next tour. The pic here is from my concert at De Noviteit earlier this week.
