My best girl friend and I were in Baltimore for the weekend and decided to take a stroll through Little was time for lunch and we noticed Cafe Gia was open and we decided to go glad... we did! Just as beautiful on the inside as the outside... beautiful murals on the walls and tables...fresh flowers lining the bar... amazing friendly family owned restaurant...we enjoyed our lunch tremendously and we will definitely make this a stop on our future trips to Baltimore! We were spoiled at Cafe Gia.
From the moment we made the reservation throughout the dinner and dessert, we NEVER had a single disapointment. We were treated like family and everyone in our party of s...ix was quite while eating; overjoyed with each selection. We didn't feel rushed so we had plenty time to enjoy each others stories. I highly recommend Cafe Gia! See More

We've made several trips to Baltimore's Little Italy and this was by far our favorite restaurant. All four entrees were made to perfection. The decor, the atmosphere, were wonderful. The hostess/owner... was lovely and shared a few wonderful stories at our request. We'll be back. See More

This is the best Italian restaurant. It’s not a place to eat, it’s a place to dine Very warm and friendly atmosphere

For the first time ever I was denied seating for a table for one. I was told maybe the bar would be better for me even though there were tables. I went back and was told they were booked still with t...ables empty. I got on OpenTable and was able to make a reservation for two all night long but changing that to a table for one had no availability until 9 PM. I went up the street to Amicci's and had a delicious chicken Parmesan dinner without the attitude. I suggest going there instead of Gia's. They are much more welcoming, we are all by ourselves sometimes! See More

Cafe Gia had been recommended to me several times so on my last trip to Baltimore I decided to try it.

I was told that it gets very crowded so I went early (5:00). No problem getting a table but it busy soon after.

The server was awesome. I can't remember his name but he grew up in Easton, MD.

I ordered the beet salad and the Spaghetti Norma. Sublime! I'm a tough critic of beet salad but this was even better than my own. The spaghetti was excellent.

I loved the decor. The prices were good for the quality of food.

Highly recommended!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the staff on Friday night! It was a beautiful evening and they let us sit outside at our favorite table upstairs. Out server Linda was on point helping to make my fr...iend's birthday dinner a success! Our food was fantastic, from the grilled caesar salad appetizer to the homemade gelato at dessert, special shout out to the chef last night! They're definitely doing something right at this establishment. See More

But I only live the caffe side. I was not happy with the Ristorante side at all. The bar/caffe was amazing. The hostess on the ristotante side was not nice at all. The cool guy at the the bat was amazing

This is usually a dinner spot, but we asked nicely and it was a quiet rainy Monday, so the kind owner allowed us in for desserts and coffee. WOW! I am so glad we stopped in! The desserts are and heavenly. I had a profiterole with an indescribable chocolate sauce with walnuts. My daughter enjoyed a lovely tiramisu. The surroundings were modern and arty and delightful. I can't wait to tell you about the dinner when I go back! See More

We enjoyed a delicious meal in the upstairs porch They accommodated our desire to overlook the street by squeezing in a table for us. The lasagna and eggplant parmigiana were the best we've eaten.

Our waitress was clearly overwhelmed. We had a party of eight so I can understand the challenge, but I expect more from a restaurant with the social media reputation of Cafe Gia. We were not allowed bring in our own wine with a corkage fee, and the woman be list is lackluster at best. We ordered apps, but she brought the wrong appetizer, wrong beer, was extremely inattentive throughout dinner, and took entirely too long to bring our final check. Food was good, but not exceptional as expected. Will not return to Cafe Gia. See More

Terrible service, horrible attitude from the owner's daughter Gia! We went for a nice family dinner after two previous pleasant visits (different waiters of course), we walked in, she just basically i...gnored us, we just stood there. We asked to be seated upstairs as we did the last couple of times, she ignored our request without any clarification, we asked to customise our order due to dietary restrictions, she told us that was not possible, we explained that we had the chef customise it for us the last time she told us to just pick something else. Unprofessional sarcastic tone and facial expressions, we just cancelled the order and left. We could hear her mumbling on our way out. Very poor customer service skills. I recommend Aldo's Ristorante or Dalesio's. Great food, friendly staff. See More

Best calamari appetizer I've ever had. Best lasagna I've ever had. Excellent atmosphere in the bar area. Our server slash bartender was super on top of his game and the local people that were there just super friendly to us New Jersey Yankee fans. I must go to if in Baltimore. See More
