Getting down to business!

Congratulations to Cambria for winning the 2017 Giant Run Business Challenge for having the most participants and taking home the traveling trophy. Way to go! Attached are some of the Business Challenge Team photos from Saturday's race.

Thank you Mayor!

Greg Hagg To all who volunteered for Giant Celebration, Le Sueur owes you one GIANT THANK YOU! Without you, this does not happen! To all who donated monies and... materials - THANK YOU for without this does not happen! For those that attended - THANK YOU for without you, why are we doing this in the first place? For those that did not take the time to participate at all, went out of town, or simply did not want to spend even a dollar for our town's celebration - perhaps next year you may want to re-think your position. It is easy to complain and blame, but it takes effort to get involved. If everyone within Le Sueur gave just a little effort and turned your negativity into something positive, imagine what we could accomplish as a City and as a community? It all starts with each of us trying to make a difference. Regarding the Giant Celebration Committee, I am sure that ALL ideas will be listened to in the future, but please do not be upset if your particular idea does not make the cut for next year, keep pitching your idea and eventually it may become the standard. Never give up on something you believe in strongly! It made me so proud to see so many of you participate this weekend and to see the parade route packed with our citizens was fantastic. Thank you to all again that took the time to participate and make Le Sueur proud!!!!!!
