Bought a beautiful card (featuring Dovedale's stepping stones) made by Giles from Handmade Design in Ashbourne and sent it to my friend who lives in the Lake District, she grew up in Ilam. She loved it as much as I did. Thank you Giles!

Thorpe Cloud is always spectacular. This one's for a postcard auction at the Great Dome Art Fair in Buxton, 21–23 July. I'll be there with lots of other seriously talented artists – hope to see you there!

Just submitted 'Palace in the Peak' for the Buxton Spa prize – exhibition open 1st July–14th August, Green Man Gallery, Buxton.... now to get ready for the Great Dome exhibition with PDA – also in Buxton, 21st–23rd July. Busy summer!
