Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted an update on my Facebook page. I think summer is to blame!
Today I'm spending the day at my university, studying for 2 midterms that I have this week!
What are you doing on this beautiful Sunday morning?
👀
I am at Girls Learning Code Day! 40 cities accross Canada are teaching how to create a video game to young girls.
They will have to create graphics with Canva and sounds with Soundtrap and then put them together in Scratch!
Always happy to be a mentor at these events!
😁

Working from a "tea room" this afternoon! The constant rain on Montreal is quite unmotivating, so this week I went outside of my apartment a lot!
I finally found my motivation to work on my blog again, maybe I needed a bit of relaxation in the end, especially with only 6 days of vacation before the summer semester starts...
I can't wait for the sun to go out again, until then, let's be productive this afternoon! What are YOU doing today? ![]()
Girl Knows Tech shared Melinda Gates's video.
Really inspiring video about the University of Washington who has 32% of women in their computer sciences program, when there are 18% of women on average in the US. Why? Watch the video!

At the University of Washington, the share of women in computing is nearly twice the national average. Here’s why.
I just wanted to say that finals are starting this week at university so I won't be as active as I usually am in the next 2 weeks!
☺️
I don't have any blog posts scheduled either, so you can expect the next blog post at the beginning of May!
Good luck to everyone else who is also studying for finals!
💪
Here's a video that shows you what a typical Sunday looks like for me: I filmed this video last week, where I studied for 10 hours!
Two days ago, I received a prize for my involvement for women in STEM. The prize was given by the government of Quebec in the national assembly of Québec!
It was an honor to receive a trophy from the Prime Minister himself, recognizing my work at my university, on Instagram, on my blog, my YouTube channel and my Facebook group Women Know Tech! My heart stopped when the PM saw my blog and was like "wow!"
😭
It was an amazing day for me, filled with joy and happiness and hope. ...10 trophies were given for different reasons: “Health”, “citizenship”, “jobs”, “entrepreneurship” and I was the candidate for “education”!
Someone at my university recommended me for this prize, so it has even more meaning!
Passion pays off ![]()
This weekend, as most of you know now, I attended Women Techmakers Montreal!
I wrote a complete blog post about my day and how it went!
Here's a little excerpt: "The speaker for this presentation was Lauren Jane Heller, and she touched me right from the start. Are you always on the hunt for the perfect job? I do. Every hour of my life, as a student, I wonder what I will do with my life once I graduate. [...]"

You’ve probably seen them before but never really took the time to read them. Often placed at the bottom of a webpage, these subtle links are more important than you think. Yes, I’m talking about privacy policies. You might not have asked yourself this question before, but I’m asking it today: you might have never read one before, but do you need to put one on your website or your app? [ 681 more words ]
Very inspiring blog post about why diversity matters in AI research. The article is written by Dr. Joelle Pineau, the head of Facebook AI Research lab in Montreal!
"My advice for women who want to get into AI research? Be passionate and be curious about your passions. Seek opportunities to collaborate with others. Start with one course and see where it takes you." ![]()
I hope you all had a great International Women's Day!
We don't see me very well, but I'm the complete left of the picture! I did my first talk ever today at my university, we had a panel of women from various backgrounds: me, still a student, a professor, a graduate student, an employee, and a doctoral student!
My university announced today that they set the goal to have 30% of women in engineering by 2030, we are at 15% now! I will continue to work hard and be in that number
🙏
Here is a comment I received on my Instagram page today.
🙏 One person at a time, we can work together and close the gender gap in tech!
👩💻
It means I am doing something right and we can change the world together!
❤️
✨
I was interviewed by She Does Digital!
I really like this interview, I feel like they understand myself more than I do sometimes.
