Girls Driving for a Difference added 30 new photos to the album: National Charity League Workshop — at Hillview Community Center.
On Sun, Feb 4, we had the opportunity to be a "fly on the wall" (aka, just sit back and watch!) at a local workshop event hosted by the National Charity League.
2 high-school sophomores and 2 adult program leaders worked together to teach the workshop for 35 7th grade girls. It was amazing to see the sophomores' confidence grow as they became more comfortable teaching and leading, throughout the workshop. I also took away many learnings from the event about ways we can improve our training for future facilitators, and make this program even more accessible for younger coaches.
