Corporate Junk Science: The Monsanto Papers, also known as The Monsanto Secret Documents, are a set of 141 recently de-classified documents, made public during ...the course of pending toxic tort litigation. The Monsanto Papers tell an alarming story of ghostwriting, scientific manipulation, collusion with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and previously undisclosed information about how the human body absorbs glyphosate. These documents, which Monsanto does not want you to see, provide a deeper understanding of the serious public health consequences surrounding Monsanto’s conduct in marketing Roundup. Monsanto secretly sponsored the pro-GMO website Academics Review, and collusion with the journal editor A. Wallace Hayes to obtain the retraction of the Seralini long-term study on the health impacts of a GMO corn and the associated glyphosate-based herbicide. Hayes had a history of defending dangerous products due to his experience as a tobacco company employee. A peer-reviewed paper of the Monsanto secret documents concludes, "Whether glyphosate or glyphosate-based formulations such as Roundup are safe is a matter of objective scientific evaluation. Monsanto, however, has poisoned the well by flooding the scientific journals with ghostwritten articles and interfering in the scientific process at multiple levels. This has enormously complicated the task of discovering the truth. If the company had confidence in the safety of its products, there would be no need for such behavior, but it is obvious that there are problems that Monsanto needs to conceal."

French Tomato Farmer Sues Monsanto: Jean-Claude Terlet, a tomato farmer in Celles-sur-Aisne, northern France, is suing Bayer-Monsanto for causing his prostate c...ancer. Terlet had urine tests done after he was diagnosed and the tests detected glyphosate, ingredient in Bayer-Monsanto's Roundup weedkiller. "I'm convinced that that's what caused my cancer," Terlet told AFP, saying the chemical was found at levels of 0.25 micrograms per litre of blood and that the tests showed up no other chemicals or traces of medication. Terlet was a devotee of Roundup for three decades. He used it to kill weeds pushing up through the stubble left in his fields after the harvest. "At the time, they presented glyphosate as being a miracle product. Everyone was buying it! We didn't realize the effects it could have in the medium- and long-term. And now we're seeing them" he said. Terlet believes that all herbicides are harmful and is now an organic farmer.

BREAKING: The FDA has approved GMO Bt sugarcane being grown in Brazil. The crop has built in Bt toxic insecticide genetically engineered into it, intended to ki...ll the sugarcane borer. Meanwhile, a new peer reviewed study found that these GMO Bt insecticides are immunogenic, allergenic and cause pre-cancerous changes to the intestines. Allergic reactions documented in the study include anaphylaxis. The industry will likely tell you that there is no Bt remaining in the refined sugar, but we can tell you that the number of people with corn allergies and anaphylactic reactions to corn, INCLUDING CORN SYRUP (which is also refined) is GROWING. What will refined sugar made from GMO Bt toxic sugarcane do to our immune and digestive systems? We don't know because there have been no safety studies or human health trials. It's only a matter of time before this sugar makes its way to the U.S.A. BUYER BEWARE.

It led to this landmark ruling that holds Monsanto accountable for the death and destruction of the lives of innocent people. May there be justice for the next 3,000 cancer victims.

Breaking News: U.S. Appeals Court Orders EPA to Ban Chlorpyrifos. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) must finalize its proposed ban on chlorpyrifos,... a pesticide linked to learning disabilities in children, from use on produce sold in the U.S. within 60 days, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday. The judges found the agency broke the law by continuing to allow the toxic chemical to be used on fruits and vegetables despite solid science, including from EPA’s own scientists, showing it harms the developing brain. Chlorpyrifos insecticide had been set to be banned in early 2017. But newly appointed EPA head, Scott Pruitt, reversed course after DowDuPont, maker of chlorpyrifos, donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration. Because of federal inaction, the state of Hawaii and the city of Austin, TX, moved forward with chlorpyrifos bans of their own. And most recently Scott Pruitt was forced out of the EPA due to insurmountable charges of corruption and public pressure. Good riddance Pruitt. And good riddance chlorpyrifos. We won't miss either one of you.

But make sure to buy from real organic farmers and not resellers. Unfortunately, many farmers markets don't have rules against allowing resellers to operate in their markets. What's a reseller? Basically, it's the guy or gal that goes to the Walmart before the market, buys some stuff, sets up a nice looking table, jacks up the price 30% and then sells it to you. When you buy from a reseller, you're not supporting a local farmer or the local economy. If you're not sure if the seller is an actual farmer or a reseller, just ask.

Breaking News: Brazil Judge Suspends Use of Bayer-Monsanto's Glyphosate. A Brazilian judge has suspended the use of products containing glyphosate, a widely emp...loyed herbicide for GMO soy and other crops in the country, according to legal filings. The judge ruled that new products containing the chemical could not be registered in the country and existing registrations would be suspended within the next 30 days, until the government reevaluates their toxicology. PARTAY! Monsanto ain't gonna like this news! But get ready for that Bayer-Monsanto corruption-money to roll into Brazil.
