For parents looking for a night out without the children, CU Athletics will host its 10th Annual “Kids Night Out With The Jays” on Friday, February 2 from 6:30-9:00 p.m., at D.J. Sokol Arena inside the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center. CU student-athletes as well as Billy Bluejay will have a host of activities available to entertain the kids while parents enjoy the evening elsewhere. Activities include face painting, tug-of-war, basketball, soccer, kickball, board games,... dancing, movies, facility tours, musical chairs and crafts. Cost is $25 for the first child and $15 for each additional sibling – proceeds from the night will go to the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) Leadership Fund – with children ages 5-12 eligible to participate. Snacks and pizza will be provided, student-athletes will be available for pictures and autographs and all participants will receive a Creighton t-shirt.
