This place is badass! Great beers on tap, they have an awesome rotating selection. If you use the app, "Untappd" you'll get updates. Food is great too. As a...dvertised it's vegetarian. Nice change, good variety. Late night I had quesadilla that really hit the spot, unique flavors.
Last but certainly not least, great people that really put their heart into making this place a San Jose staple. Definitely a highlight of downtown SJ عرض المزيد

Great beer. Good food(coming from one of the biggest carnivores ever.) Staff are great people and the owner is the most humbling dude in the beer scene around.(...next to dee @isobeers of course) beer is life for some of these people. Comfort food! Most delicious savory food imaginable, let alone that it's vegan! Very friendly, super fast lunch service. Awesome beer selection and even sours-...- but i opted for ginger lemon cayanne kombucha. Ask about the off-menu items such as soup: had a creamy tomato basil so rich and tomatoey-- all soup should make you feel so cozy. Everything I tried had many layers of flavor (buddha roll, street tacos, marsala, curry, chile verde). I doubt I would have believed the streets tacos weren't meat if I hadn't been told. I ordered a salad trio of tabbouleh, kale, and cabbage. The tabbouleh is the best I've ever tasted, with the perfect balance of heat. The kale salad - knocked my socks off delish! Agave and roasted almonds. What a delicious combination, again with a heat that gently lingers on the palate.

Possibly the second best place for beer in San Jose, despite the fact that it's a vegan Cafe. Fear not the food is good even if you live for meat, though you won't find any here.

This is really the only place I like to go out to eat. They have legumes here! OMG! What a concept. Other restaurants don't serve that, unless it's smothered i...n pork fat or butter. They don't have a lot of deep fried stuff. It's full- flavored! It's healthy! And it's the only place I eat out at where I don't go home feeling bad. Oh and you can't get beer like this anywhere else. If you haven't had this beer, you haven't had real beer. عرض المزيد

Seriously some of the best beer selection and atmosphere in dtsj. Highly recommend the chana masala or Buddha buns. Ask Lars or Neil about any beer on the list and yr sure to get some great insight. Thanks guys!

Sooooo this happened last night!!! The 4th of FIVE #goldentickets was earned by this fine gentleman after he popped the @cellarmakerbrewing Gracious Days keg... ONE TICKET LEFT!! #whosnext⁉️ will it be YOU kicking that @alvaradostreetbrewery Trois Cantonese keg today?! #plinytheyounger release is tomorrow, 2/20 and the golden ticket holders are the first five people in line for a 6pm tapping- happy #sfbw everyone!!!
