We serve people who are dealing with race-based stress and racial trauma. This fund is designed to help our clients not have to pay for any services! Please donate whatever you can. Thank you!!!”
The Collective Care Center is a racial and intersectional trauma center that serves people who have experienced ...or been affected by community violence, police brutality, microaggressions, and other forms of institutional racism/sexism/heterosexism/transphobia/xenophobia. We treat everything from racial trauma, to PTSD, to anxiety, depression, and other mental health related issues. We see adults, children, teens, and families struggling to navigate these issues.
The experience of microaggressions or the "covert discrimination" that is woven throughout society has been linked with sleep problems, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, irritability, low self-esteem, fatalistic thinking, and difficulty concentrating. Unfortunately, no person of color or LGBTQ+ individual is free from the stressors inherent in a heterosexist, sexist, and racist society. We can help. Our team is composed of six healers of color from various backgrounds in clinical psychology with a variety of intersecting identities. We are devoted to working alongside you on your journey toward healing and personal insight and growth.
Our services operate on a sliding pay scale, but that isnt acceptable to us. Everyone cannot afford the fees every session, so our dream is to make every service that we provide entirely free. We believe that no one is free until we all are free. So please, help give countless people the chance to heal without re-experiencing the anxiety of poverty. Thank you, and please donate and share.
