Hi everybody. We just finished up our press conference here at the Black Hills Stock Show. We are so excited to have so many people that came across the state to talk about something that's incredibly important to South Dakota. South Dakota is open for business, but we are all about rolling out the Red carpet for people to invest here for families to expand their operations. We are about not focusing on Red tape. We want to make that process easier. So today I talked about a bill that we're going to be introducing that will deal with zoning across the state. We are. Interested in putting forward a fair process for indictable process and a transparent process in our counties for how conditionally using beds are handled. So today, I talked about the different sections of that bill, how it will make sure that there is a timely process in every County so that folks know where their permitting processes at it'll also define skin go forward with lawsuits and who is the individual of these processes will also make sure that it's dealing with. Bonding requirements to cover the cost of her seedings we had so many different stories across the state in different counties about people who had a difficult time expanding their operations, a difficult time putting forward projects because people with outside agendas or other interests or their just delaying or selling process, that really was fair, transparent. Just bill will address that. so I encourage you to follow it. today we had many entities here. I want everybody to know that agriculture is our number one industry animal agriculture is a huge part of that, but we had. So many different organizations come and speak in favor of this bill and the consistency that it puts forward, but also we have other organizations. We have County commissioners that were here in support. We have local leaders in small towns that wanna keep families and kids in their schools and help their main students be successful recognize that they have to have economic development to do that. This will help anybody who wants to do a utility company investment. They want to do a power plant to win project any kind of expansion that would require conditioner. Use permit this will put forward a process that is fair that is clear that's predictable that will allow it to go much smoother and the facilitate our self is open for business.
