Bemidji Community Food Shelf is have a contest for their new logo! Deadline for entries has been extended to October 1st.
Folks: Bemidji Community Food Shelf (BCFS) recently acquired a gently used commercial van with a grant it received from the NFL Legacy Fund. The... van will be used to pick up food from the North Country Food Bank in Crookston and donated food from area stores, as well as for transporting materials for the Farm and Community Raised Bed projects. Eventually, the van may be used as part of a mobile food shelf program to take food to outlying communities. The van purchase has spurred BCFS to seek a new logo that better represents today’s Food Shelf and Farm Project.
BCFS invites the community to participate in a logo contest, with a submission deadline of September 1, 2017. The winning logo will be featured on the new van, the website, and all other food shelf materials. The winner will receive a check for $100 and much hoopla and acclaim. Individuals may submit more than one design. Submissions should be in PDF format and can be emailed to email@example.com with the word “logo” in the subject line. Please include your name and a phone number where we can reach you. The winner will be announced Friday, September 15, 2017. For more information, please call Mary at 218-444-6580.
