Dear friends and customers,
It is with much regret that I must announce that after 10 years of making tasty chocolates, GrendelSweets is closing its doors for good. Thank you for all your support and kindness. May life continue to be sweet for you!
Just a reminder that I'll be at the Crossroads Winter Market on Saturday, from noon until 4. Drop by for some of your old favorites, some holiday items, or just to say hi. I'll have dark chocolate salted caramels, Zydecos, milk chocolate caramels, chocolate orange batons, almond barks, three types of truffles (Triple Chocolate, Moka, and Gianduja), plus some chocolate snowmen and decorated trees. Hope to see you there.
A chocolatier in need: One of the people who inspired me to start this business, Richard Donnelly, is looking for a few more votes to help him win a Mission Main Street Grant (https://www.missionmainstreetgrants.com/search/businesses). If you can help, please visit this link, search for Donnelly Chocolates, and then just vote. Thank you!!!!
And tomorrow, there will be two new truffle flavors at the The Vashon Tea shop. In addition to Triple Chocolate, they'll have Spicy Chai and Milk Chocolate. And at Ebru, they'll have Triple Chocolate, Spicy Chai, Milk Chocolate, and Aztec. Enjoy!
Our newest caramels are available exclusively at Giraffe in Tacoma and Vashon (www.giraffehome.com). Made using Giraffe's special blend of exotic salts, these treats take salted caramels to a new level. If you're in the neighborhood (either one), drop by Giraffe. They have some really cool stuff ... in addition to the caramels.
Starting Thursday morning, there will be a small selection of chocolates and caramels at the Vashon Tea Shop. And by Thursday evening, they will also be at Ebru in Crossroads. The selection will include Zydecos, Fleur de Sel Caramels, Coconut Macadamia Caramels, and Triple Chocolate Truffles. Enjoy!
