If you own/operate a local mushroom-themed business, please contact the admins as your products may be acceptable and we're happy to help our local community.

Psychoactive Mushrooms
We are happy to help ID wild foraged psychoactive mushrooms, but please, no photos or discussion specifically about the cultivation, consumption, or sale of these fungi. If its illegal, just don't post it.

No Hate Speech, Bullying, or Drama.
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
Insults or inciting drama will result in you being removed from the group.

All Posts Must Be Mushroom Related
Posts that are not mushroom related in some way, shape or form will be removed.

No insisting on or defending misinformation
This includes pick-shaming, uneducated, IDs based solely on apps, fungiphobic rhetoric, and other non-factual, non-science based lore. We will correct you, research it, accept it, learn from it.

If your pet or child has ingested an unknown mushroom: Post to Poisons Help; Emergency Identification For Mushrooms & Plants for immediate and professional help in identifying the mushroom. Do not post here.
If someone does post here, the ONLY appropriate reply from ANYONE here is to share the above group with them. We have deadly fungi here and wasting time that could be spent getting a reliable ID from experts could make the difference in a pet or child's well-being or even life.
