Group rules from the admins

1
The Purpose of This Group Is To:
Connect members of our community to each other so we can help get through the COVID-19 pandemic.
2
Radical Giving and Radical Vulnerability:
Most of us have likely never been tested by an obstacle of this magnitude, and we need to be vulnerable and understanding of each other in order to survive. Let's give as much as we can to each other, and we will all start to see the benefits
3
No Hate Speech or Bullying:
Bullying or personal/ad hominem attacks of any kind are not allowed and will be grounds for dismissal.
4
No Hate Speech or Bullying Continued:
Degrading comments towards people asking for help or about topics such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, class, gender or identity will also not be tolerated and will also be grounds for dismissal.
5
Move Discussion Forward:
“Trolling” (e.g. posts/comments that do not move a discussion forward in any way) will also be grounds for dismissal from the group.
6
Respect Everyone's Privacy:
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Posts should not be re-shared in any way without the author’s express approval. This includes copy-paste and screenshotting.
7
Create a Healthy Environment:
Report posts/comments that are problematic. If you have a problem with a post or comment, report it using Facebook's tools (the button at the top/right of the post/comment). If you have a problem with an admin, PM the other admins.
8
No Promotions or Spam:
Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. Admins reserve the right to remove anything deemed irrelevant.
9
Prioritizing Mutual Aid:
We prioritize mutual aid over news and tips. Posts asking for aid can get drowned out by excessive links. Admins can remove or limit posts by members who submit excessive content not directly related to requests/responses to or about mutual aid.
10
Process:
If an admin determines a post goes against the stated guidelines, the admin may warn, mute, or remove the violator. The violators posts/comments may be deleted as well. These guidelines are a living document and can be updated by admins at any time
