This group was not created with specific COVID-19 public health expertise, & does not endorse home remedies for curing infected persons. Please follow all official public health directives specific to your community from your county’s health dept.

Give Grace. Assume best intent.
Consider where the person is coming from emotionally before you react to the information. It’s easy to misinterpret a persons words when they are typed on a screen, so remember to be kind with your responses and give grace as we all learn together.

By building this resource together we all have the ability to empower one another and hold ourselves accountable to providing an inclusive, safe space to share resources and information that is accessible to anyone in our neighborhoods.

Here we ask freely & give freely, period. If you are so concerned about someone's post that you absolutely must discuss it, reach out to an admin privately, NOT on the post itself.

No Personal Money Asks
We are no longer approving posts asking for cash. We do not have the capacity or desire to facilitate the large number of posts asking group members for money. This group is for mutual aid not charity.

We want to make sure that we arent perpetuating bias and maintain a trauma informed environment. No graphic details, photos of you, your kids or other people please. Additionally, we discourage using personal identifying information when making posts.
