We Keep Us Safe
1a) Don’t call the cops or Children's Aid Services. b) Prisons destroy community, community keeps us safe. c) Dismantle, divest, defund, disarm: committing to prison abolition and the call to #FreeThemAll. d) Prioritizing healing over punishment.

CareMongering goes beyond COVID-19
Mutal aid is a part of a greater push towards justice. 2a) This group is rooted in disability justice. 2b) State institutions intentionally fail us. We build up mutual aid from within our communities to address our needs, by us and for us.

Survival pending revolution
2c) We help each other to survive because we need each other to survive. The revolution we build towards is a world and society where people are cared for and are prioritized over profit - a world without capitalism.

Community and the Collective, Not Individuals
The aim of CareMongering is to build community. 3a) We are building relationships, not just providing a service. 3b) There is nothing wrong with people who are in need. There is everything wrong with systems which put people in need.

No racism, sexism, transphobia, classism, ableism, or bigotry of any kind. No white supremacists. This group is explicitly anti-capitalist and grounded in principles of disability justice.
