Mutual Aid is Our Goal
We have the common goal of providing mutual aid in Athens, GA. This can come in infinite forms, but always involves the sharing of resources without question, and sharing radical trust.

Asks/Gives Require Zero Explanation
We will never ask any member of the group to provide "evidence" of need, or receipts, at any time. Ever. Any comments asking for evidence or proof will be taken down.

Respect Everyone's Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

We are affiliated with IGD

No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Yes, this is a safe space. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, culture, sexual orientation, ability, class, gender, or identity of any kind will not be tolerated.

This will be an auto-ban. We want to help you and help each other, but our ability to do so is reduced when you block us. Please message another admin if you have a legitimate problem with another.

Please post directly to the group for needs and members will do what they can to help, unless otherwise given permission to message a member directly.

Admins will only approve one request post per member per day. Admins can only administer funds once per member per day. Please comment and edit your original post as needed.

No Aliases, Pseudonyms, or Fake Profiles Allowed
We are regularly getting scam membership requests from second accounts of current members or brand new accounts that are clearly fraudulent. You will be banned and aliases listed publicly.
