The group is open to those who like or is interested in Chessies. Discussions include topics such as showing, breeding, hunting retrieving, field trials, hunt tests, search and rescue, agility, family pet and more.
If you love or are interested in the brown dog known as the Chesapeake Bay Retriever please join. If you have a Chessie mix, we welcome you to participate.
This group is designed for the advancement of knowledge and the exchange of ideas for people interested in the pure-bred dog known as the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. We promote health clearances on parents and do not allow solicitations of purposefully created mixes.
This group is not intended for gossip, malicious banter, name calling, or just plain being nasty. It’s a forum for people to ask legitimate questions, be mentored by senior breeders and owners and discuss points of interest regarding the pure-bred Chesapeake.
The group is moderated and any questionable behavior will be handled appropriately including a warning and possible banning.
*Any posts or comment replies referring to the availability of puppies for sale MUST include the parents health clearances and registered names or the disclosure of the fact that they have none. Intentionally produced mixed-breeds (ie Chessie x Lab or otherwise) will be removed.
