Group rules from the admins
1
Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
2
ZERO TOLERANCE for Hate Speech or Bullying
Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated. RESPECT THE PRONOUNS OF OTHERS!
3
Back up Your Science
Old wives tales, unsupported medicinal claims, etc are not allowed here. This is a PRO-SCIENCE group, so do your research before presenting any argument or evidence (this does NOT=GOOGLE searching)
4
No Pushing Treatments / Cures on Others
You are invited to share personal experiences and general information, but please refrain from offering unsolicited medical/diet advice to others unless you have been asked directly.
5
Self Promotion is Encouraged, but SPAM IS NOT.
Feel free to share your gifts with us (and promote your way of life), but please do not spam the group repeatedly. Only one link share per day, please.
6
Try to Keep Memes on Topic
Pretty simple, but let's keep memes within the realms of mushrooms and chronic illness/pain.
7
No incessant trumping of other's illnesses/pain.
Everyone here (presumably) is chronically ill or in some sort of pain. Invalidating or diminishing the experiences of others is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

For those who are unsure, THIS IS A SUPPORT GROUP. When a member posts in the hopes of venting or receiving support (no matter the content and our opinion of the content), our replies should be non-judgmental, gentle, and empathetic. The words we use in response to members under duress can have such a huge impact, and we should all be mindful of that.
