Thank you for adding me to this group today so let me introduce myself. I take stereo photos with a single lens digital camera. Have been taking them since my mother showed me how she did them many years ago. She used a tri-pod and carefully moved it. I do the side-steps and adjust on the computer screen or if printed, adjust to level and then trim. I used to do only parallel images until about 22 years ago and discovered free-viewing on the internet. Learned to use both techniques and prefer the x-eyed method. Have not got into any of the other forms of making stereo/3D photos. I usually do cars and landscapes but sometimes flowers as long as it's not windy. X-3D of an orchid, taken this past spring.
One more photo to share tonight. I took this image with my cell phone a couple of weeks ago, with two sequential shots at different angles. I had to wait for cars to go by so there wouldn't be any major differences between the two images. The building is a bank in the Denver metro area designed by the same architect as the futuristic house in the movie "Sleeper," which is also near Denver.
