Carpaccio of Langoustine from Palamós. Best thing I've eaten on this trip, period.

No automatic alt text available.

Certainly not the prettiest of plates, but this White Asparagus & Black Truffle "Vienetta" was simply outstanding.

2-Michelin starred restaurant in Brussels. Impeccable execution but didn't excite.

Gourmet Traveller added 6 new photos to the album: Yardbird — at 50 Eggs.

Awesome brunch at Miami's Yardbird. Wish I had more room to try their Slow-braised Short Rib Sandwich, Shimp n' Grits and Pecan Crusted French Toast. Next time!

Gourmet Traveller added 8 new photos to the album: The Dutch, Miami — at The Dutch.

Sister restaurant of the equally lovely The Dutch in NYC. Bright and Airy, with a simple yet varied menu. We loved everything we ate, especially the puds (the rum vanilla cream doughnuts are INSANE).

Gourmet Traveller added 9 new photos to the album: Pubbelly — at Pubbelly.

Some interesting flavour combinations at this Asian inspired Gastropub in Miami. Not all were successful, but the buffalo sweetbreads, amberjack with lemongrass romesco, octopus a la plancha and their signature pork belly did hit the spot.
