This week we celebrate you - children, parents, and early childhood professionals! Parent trainings are held at the Agat Mayor's Office and DYA Lagu Resource Center in Dededo every morning and nightly at the Sinajana Mayor's Office.

To kick off the celebration on Saturday, April 9, the Department of Education - Guam Early Intervention System and Inter-Agency Coordinating Council (ICC), Guam Early Learning Council, & early childhood programs sponsored an Early Childhood Parent Conference.

Today we know more than ever before about the importance of children's earliest years in shaping their learning and development. We know the needs of young children and their families have been more pressing. We are excited to share the Week of the Young Child will take place April 9 - 15, 2016.

Join us at Early Childhood Parent Conference tomorrow! And on April 11 at 3pm at Adelup Conference Room, Governor Eddie Calvo, along with First Lady Christine Calvo, the Guam Early Learning Council, and early childhood programs will have a Proclamation Signing to celebrate the national event.
