Thank you to ABC 6 News - KAAL TV out of Rochester for highlighting our campaign, which is working hard to flip MN-01 into the Republican column. With this seat being the best pickup opportunity for Republicans in the country, we are seeing large amounts of money flow in from out-state to try and keep this district under Democratic control. This doesn't change anything for our campaign though. We will continue to meet folks across the district, spread our conservative values,... and work hard to ensure that with your help, we flip this seat come November.

We all want an end to murder and violence, but the new laws proposed by gun control advocates will suppress the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding American citizens to keep an bear arms for self-protection and other lawful purposes, while doing next to nothing to stop the premediated evil acts of criminals.

This CBS news story highlights how gun ownership by good citizens is not the root of the problem, as a record number of Minnesotans own a record number of firearms and hold a record number of carry permits, yet serious gun-related crimes have reached a 50-year low.

Minnesota set a record last year for the number of gun background checks the FBI conducted in the state.

Thanks to Chairman Denny Dotson and IT Analyst Kim Spears for the tour of Dotson Iron Castings, a 142-year old and 200 strong employee-owned foundry and national metal castings leader in Mankato.

I strongly support federal tax, regulatory and energy policies to facilitate the creation and expansion of manufacturing and industrial enterprises that deliver high-wage jobs with good benefits for America’s workers.

No words to properly describe this level of premeditated evil and the amount of love we have for those murdered and all the victims and their families. Just sad.

We spent yesterday in Faribault discussing education, economic development, refugee assimilation and veterans issues with many community leaders.

We also did some campaigning. Thanks to Chairman Bruce Morlan the Rice County Republicans of Minnesota for giving me the floor during last night’s meeting to offer a campaign update.

Also, thanks to Gordy Kosfeld and KDHL Radio for the radio interview.

Just like with Tim Walz’s departure in our MN1 race, the Democrats will have an exceptionally hard time making up for the loss of incumbency, and all its advantages, in MN8.

Time to turn Minnesota Red and win back some rural seats held by Democrats!

Congressman Nolan and I don’t see the world the same way, but he is genuinely a nice guy and we all wish him well.

Minnesota Democratic Rep. Rick Nolan announced Friday he won't seek re-election, handing Republicans a rare opportunity to pick up a seat this fall.

This is a vote on which I would have broken ranks with the Trump administration and GOP leaders. Federal agencies are bloated and in dire need of reform, the Department of Defense included.

My background and expertise involves identifying government inefficiencies, reforming federal operations, cutting spending, eliminating federal jobs and improving service to the American people.

We must spend taxpayers money more wisely, conservatively, and wring out waste, fraud and abus...e.

We should also return to regular order on appropriations bills - no more omnibus last minute blockbuster spending deals!

I understand how the $20 trillion national debt and the $80-100 trillion in unfunded federal liabilities loom as serious long term threats to our economy and American way of life.

As your Congressman, I will work to limit and reform the federal government, vote for pro-growth tax, regulatory and energy policies to keep expanding the U.S. economy and push all national leaders to plan for the massive increase in debt service payments that will follow the unfolding uptick in interest rates.

President Trump signed a massive budget package Friday morning that lifts spending caps while funding the government through March 23, ending a brief shutdown after a tumultuous night on Capitol Hill.

The Hagedorn campaign was well organized for Tuesday night’s Precinct Caucuses. We turned out our supporters in all 21 counties and will work closely with GOP delegates to win the Minnesota First District Republicans endorsement on April 21st.

Thank you for stepping up and supporting our campaign! I value our Republican Party organizations and understand the critical role grassroots activists play in winning elections.

The Hagedorn campaign will continue to work hard to earn ...your vote and full support.

Thanks also to publisher Joe Steck and the Mankato Times for reporting on my Tuesday night campaign appearances in Olmsted and Dodge counties.

Interview with Republican Jim Hagedorn who attended precinct caucuses in Rochester, Byron, Kasson and Dodge Center at part of his campaign for the CD1 U.S. Congressional seat.

If President Obama was involved in unlawful surveillance of the Trump campaign or weaponizing the FBI to influence the election in favor of Hillary Clinton, the American people have the right to know.

Newly released text messages between FBI lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page saying Barack Obama wanted to “know everything” the FBI was “doing” could raise questions about the former president's 2016 statement that he was not involved in discussing pending probes.
