       Another of my freeware VST toys. This one is called Firebird, and until last year it would cost you $79 to get this thing. The Tone2 people recently made this freeware, so I grabbed it. Seems to be good for trance techno type stuff, but it has some neat waveforms and arpeggios, and I have wasted many hours just pressing "Random" and seeing what nonsense this thing comes up with next. It's first usage was in a mix I did for halovox ... it's one of the four sample and hold bass sequences I used in my mix of his "Deception" track. Very simple to use but it can make some nice sounds.
