When traveling I often check out the local Chamber of Commerce for ideas of where to go, businesses to visit, etc. Also when we moved to NC many years ago, the chamber was a big asset to helping us ge...t acclimated to our new community. From my experiences with other chambers, I am very proud of our Greater Hammond Chamber! Always forward thinking, big encouragers of business, supporters of local events, our university and much more. The staff, leadership and members really make this a membership worth having. Thank you for all you do! See More

Chamber is a unique opportunity to meet people in the community, learn about their businesses while sharing the details on your own. Chamber builds strong business relations which in turn strengthens ...commerce in our community and grows business for all that participate. It's a win-win for all. See More

Join us Thursday, April 19, at 4 pm for a special event with the Northshore Home Builders Association and Raising the Roof for Charity Home as they cut the ribbon on the 2018 Home located at 4192 Cypress Point Drive in Covington! Raising the Roof for Charity is an annual project of the Northshore Home Builders Association. Their members and community contribute time, work, and products to building a house that is raffled and given to one lucky winner. The proceeds from the RTR Home benefit local charities. Since 1994, this project has donated over $5 million to the Northshore community. The Builder of the 2018 Home is Past President Blake Mendheim, of 110 Builders. The 2018 charities are: Louisiana Children's Discovery Center, St. Tammany Hospital Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West. Visit for more information.
