Here's another great project that our charity, GlobalGiving, has just started helping to fund.
Mari Kuraishi and Britt Lake of GlobalGiving are traveling to Japan soon to visit all the organizations they've given money to in the past year. Here's a short video that GG recently made an oyster farmer who's trying to rebuild his life. Today is a very quiet day of contemplation, thinking about Japan, what the country has been through and where it's going.
Thank you all for all your support and good wishes over the past year. We couldn't have done any of this without your generosity and enthusiasm. We so appreciate this community and all you've done for Japan!
As we approach the last hours before the official one year anniversary, please consider another donation to Global Giving for their support of grassroots organizations in Japan devoted to recovery efforts. Click on our blog post for more info on giving through our widget. You are always in our hearts and thoughts, Japan.
