Tonight is our first open meeting to the 2016 Happy Slapowitz's Toy Bash. Anyone that is interested in helping Happy out this year please attend the meeting tonight at 7:30 pm at Paddlewheel on 127 N. Water St. Anyone is welcome we can use any type of help you can offer.
Happy is excited to get the party started this year. Check it out, "Christmas in July “ event on Saturday, July 16th, hosted by the Devil Dogs of the local Marine Corps League.
This event is open to the public, and begins at 4:00 pm at the Barracks at 2148 Broadway in Cape, and ends at 9:30 pm. There will be free food and drinks plus a silent auction, a best looking tattoo contest, karaoke, and many other fun activities. It's our way to get the public connected with us and have an opportunity to see what we do for our community.

This is one of the few fundraisers that the Marine Corps League does to help with their yearly expenses. They help our community out so much with the Toys For Tots Drive we should help them out on March 26th.

It's the night before The Bash and all is lined up right, preparing for a most amazing giving night!
Raffles and door people, food that is delicious, all aligned perfect for children's good wishes! Music to dance to and a reason to be jolly! A community coming together, oh my! Good golly! Love, kindness and caring are the best things to give, teaching future generations, what it truly means to give.
On the eve of this great night, we are so thankful for all involved, going into tomorrow we can't wait to see what greatness the community brings to our local kiddos! Now get to sleep! We have celebrating to do tomorrow!!!
