Here’s a handy checklist for the spots every homeowner needs to pay attention to this spring:

The new season means it's time to declutter your wardrobe, wash your windows and (finally) wipe down your oven . But when it comes to spring cleaning, don't neglect some of the bigger home maintenance tasks. They may not be the most fun way to spend a weekend, but you'll save yourself serious time a...

It's happening. Tuesday is the first official day of spring and we started digging trees at the Garden Center in the sunny weather today!

I couldn't be happier with today's landscaping job! I was so excited to see the task finished after our prep work in anticipation of their expertise. Becky was so knowledgeable about and helpful with ...shrub suggestions, recommending winning varieties and sharing great ideas for their placement. She, Mark and Germaine showed up right on time with beautiful black dirt, fertilizer, shrubs, bark and grass seed. They were a hoot, so helpful, knowledgeable, supportive, happy, just a delight! Clean-up was quick and thorough. I highly recommend using Harder & Warner! They haven't seen the last of me; that's for sure! They all went above and beyond what they came to do. My husband and I are so grateful for their help. (Here's the major job, a side view after we removed 30-year-old overgrown shrubs. We also had three shrubs planted in front of the house, part of our driveway seeded with grass and excess dirt left in the garden. They didn't want to leave us with any work to do. Very thoughtful.) Today I was at the Lowe's Garden Center on 28th Street trying to explain my predicament with my home's foundation and the current drainage issues I am dealing with. I didn't really expect the cashier... to have the expertise to give me answers, but instead hoped she could point me to the right person in her store. Unfortunately, that person would not be available for at least 45 minutes. I glanced over my shoulder to see a young man sporting a polo shirt with the name "Harder & Warner" embroidered on it. He had been listening to my explanation and took the time to picture my situation in his mind and then offered up his professional advice. I did not ask his name, but I wanted to stop by and let you know how grateful I am that he stepped up to help someone in need. He did a great job representing his company and I hope he recognizes himself in this post. Thanks again! See More

Michael from Harder and Warner did our 5, very large, planters pots for the winter season at Etna Supply. They turned out amazing and we get compliments on them daily. Michael added fresh greens and r...ed branches, all I had to do was tie a bow around the front and they were done! I would HIGHLY recommend Harder and Warner and plan to use them this coming Spring for our spring/summer pot displays. Michael truly has a eye for beauty and uniqueness, you wont be disappointed! Customer service orientated, kind, patient, professional, and creative are just a few words that come to mind when I think of Michael, the amazing Harder & Warner employee who designed & implemented o...ur new landscaping. Michael made the process so much fun & I cannot wait to work with him more on future projects.
The crew that came out was also professional & courteous. Harder & Warner will always be our go-to after such a fabulous first impression.

My daughter and I used Harder and Warner to do a retaining wall along the back of her property....Which was falling over. I once was in construction and I have to say this was one of the best if not company's I have ever worked with. AJ was on the ball getting it all underway and making sure all was going well. The crew was amazing going up and above what I hoped for. If your looking for a company that does this kind of work look no more. We could not even get anyone else to just call us back. GREATJOB! I want to love H&W.... I’m not one to complain about prices, but when everything is 50% above everyone else makes it hard.

We had LOTS of landscaping done around our house and converted to rock instead of mulch. Michael is a great designer and worked with us to save some things and decrease some of the upkeep. He stopped to check up on things, Tim and his crew worked above and beyond and was great at placing boulders and putting up with me! Excellent job, larger plants well worth the cost! Great experience today. Bill was very helpful. He spent a lot of time helping my wife find the perfect Japanese Maple Trees for our front yard. Wonderful customer service. We'll be back.

H&W worked at my neighbors home yesterday and put two piles of material in the street blocking most of the road and on the opposite side of the road from where the work was. Why couldn't the material... be dumped in their driveway? Today there are two large areas of dirt and mulch that were not cleaned up. Job was poorly managed in my opinion. See More

They talk a good game, but don't deliver.

I know at some point they could do a good job, I saw one of there displays a long time ago, thats in part what made me choose them for my landscape work. ...
I've never been more disappointed, and it goes way beyond their workmanship. Despite them being priced well above everywhere else I've checked, which would be ok if the quality was there to back it up.

There Customer svc is one big blow off after another. They promise to call you back and never do.

They once attempted to rectify the 1/2 done job by going to Menards to grab some supplies to finish the job after selling us on our special ordered bricks and our high priced mulch thats supposedly better than everyone else's. The mulch didn't match what they initially put down & the bricks from Menards don't quite match either.

Its nauseating feeling as though you were taken for so much money with no recourse to make it right.
With out so much as a returned call form Harder & Warner, it appears my next recourse is to seek legal assistance.
