June 26, 2016 - Salem (Expanded Organized Play)
Registration will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM! (We please ask you to register by 10:45 AM to ensure we start right on time.)
Tournament will begin at 11:00 AM.
Additional information: There is a $10 fee for the league challenge which which will be added to the prize pool. With that being said, bring your friends and family! The more participants, the bigger the prizes!
This league challenge will be conducted for the expanded format play. Please be sure you have a legal 60 card standard deck, deck list, and your Pokemon player ID's (found on your Play! Pokemon profile page) for this event. In addition, players will also need to bring their own damage counters (in which the rolling die must be a clear 6 sided die with rounded edges, or an official Pokemon coin from Pokemon events). If you do not have a deck list, a deck list will be provided for you to fill out at the time of registration.
In addition, all participants will receive special promo cards and other incentives for attending this event. The top four in each age division will receive another special Pokemon card and Pokemon play points.
Matches for this tournament will be set up using the Swiss Pairing method. In this method, all players in a tournament play in each round against an opponent with a similar win/loss record. Players are not paired against opponents they have previously played. Each round will be 30 mins long.
Pizza will be available for purchase and a special time slot will be allotted for participants to eat.
So with two challenges this weekend (both standard and expanded), we are very excited to see what trainers will bring to the table this weekend. We hope to see you then!

There will be a second draft the very next day Saturday, June11th, 2016 at 4:00PM! If you've not already pre-ordered, please be sure to do so. We're almost out of product that we can pre-sell! The draft... will be at 7pm and entry will be $30! This gets you 3 packs and the same usual draft rules! You could walk out with hundreds of dollars in pulls!

We are now accepting pre-orders on Eternal Masters! We have a limited supply, so if you want to get a box all to yourself or between friends, pre-ordering is the way to go. To reserve your box, all you need to do is stop in and purchase your box on or before June 5th, ...2016. Release date is June 10th, 2016.
Eternal Masters Booster Boxes for Pre-Order will be $300. That's $50 less than Star City Games!

Entry Fee: $10
Registration: 9:30AM - 10:30AM
Start Time: 11AM...
End Time: 1PM (2PM the latest)
Additional Information:
-Swiss Pairings
-Have your deck list with you.
-Standard Play
-No Cheating (We have 2 judges, if you're found cheating, the appropriate measures will be taken).
-Respect your opponents and the staff, treat others as you would want to be treated. If you disagree with a judge ruling, it's okay, so long as you're respectful. We will not tolerate any form of disrespect towards our staff (or others) who work hard to be able to provide these tournaments and the product available to you.
-We will order pizza during the tournament and will have a sign up sheet available. Slices will be $2 each. We have additional snacks and beverages also available for purchase.
Regular league will be running following the tournament until 5PM. If you want to come and play casually and not participate in the tournament, that's absolutely fine. We understand that not every player is ready for tournaments just yet.
Our Pokemon group is always increasing and we look forward to seeing some new faces!

The first 100 people will receive a free graphic novel upon entering the store that day.
We will also have a raffle for a few original art pieces and CGC books.
Winner of raffle to be announced on our website and Facebook the next day, Sunday May 8th, 2016. Raffle tickets will be allowed 1 per customer with $10.00 store purchase.
A costume contest will also be judged in three age groups, kids 6 and under, 7-17 and adults 18 and up. A photo will be taken of all who want to enter. The winners of each age group will receive a free $50 Harrison's Gift Certificate. Winners will be announced on our website and Facebook page the next day.
If that is not enough we will have 20% off all purchases in both stores Saturday.
Also upon special request, we will continue our Woburn location sale of the last two weeks, with back issue comics $60.00 a short comic box or $100.00 a long box. Or buy 6 long boxes for only $500!
We will add an additional 15,000 comics for sale that have not been included in the inventory.
Any left over items will be given out on Sunday at the Salem location.
On Sunday at the Salem location only, bring your mother or picture of your Mother and save 20% on your purchases.
