Wishing everyone in District 69 and across the great state of New Mexico, a safe and happy 4th of July. Let freedom ring and may GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Being an elected official isn't just about campaigns, it's serving the people who put you in office to represent them. Harry currently serves/advises on 11 different legislative committees and makes the 2 hour trip to Santa Fe, 3 times a week to make sure the best interests of District 69 and New Mexico are served.

Yesterday, Harry joined 24 NM State Representatives in telling Governor Martinez, "ya basta" or "enough is enough". The people of District 69 and all of New Mexico deserve a fair and balanced budget and cuts to essential services are not going to get this done.…/house-democrats-to-governor-enough…/

We are going to fight for New Mexicans by standing against additional cuts.

THANK YOU to the more than 6100 voters who showed Harry their support today and congratulations to all the winners. With the election over, the real work of moving District 69 and New Mexico forward begins. Jobs, education, crime and the economy are just some of the things that need serious attention and Harry looks forward to working with all elected officials to get it done. Thank you for your support and trust to represent District 69 in Santa Fe.

TODAY IS THE DAY! If you have not yet done so, please get out to your polling place today and cast your vote. Although Harry is running unopposed, many races are still undecided and many important issues need your input. This is your chance to be heard. Find your polling place by visiting the SOS website at

Harry has the common sense solutions for District 69 and the State of New Mexico. VOTE Harry Garcia for NM State Representative in District 69 and THANK YOU for your support!

Harry is now listed on the state website as the NM State Representative for District 69, just in time for the special session called by Governor Martinez to deal with budget issues and other items. This will be Harry's first official legislative session of many more to follow.

Harry Garcia is now the official NM State Representative for District 69. Governor Susana Martinez called yesterday to notify Harry that she would be appointing him to the seat left vacant when Ken Martinez retired earlier this year.

"Now, I can get started on the issues. We need to work together in doing what is best for District 69 and New Mexico," Harry said.

Harry was unanimously nominated for appointment by all counties in District 69. "I'm honored to be appointed early," he said. "Now it's time to get to work."

Harry Garcia in his first-ever NM Legislative Session

There is a lot of concern in Cibola County over lost jobs from recent layoffs at Peabody and the announced closing of the Federal Prison in Milan. Harry was encouraged last night to hear about the plans the Grants City Council and other organizations have to revitalize the community, but it will take a group effort at all levels. We encourage everyone to attend the planned Town Hall meeting at the Milan Gymnasium on Tuesday, August 16th at 6pm to provide input and find out what we can all do to keep Cibola County thriving and growing.

We wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July as you celebrate the birth of this great nation throughout the weekend.

With the primary election over and no Republican opponent in November, Harry can now focus on preparing to take office in January as your new NM State Representative for District 69. There are many issues that need to be addressed and we look forward to getting things done. Thank you again to the voters of District 69 for putting your faith in Harry's vision.

WE DID IT! Harry is your new State Representative for District 69! We would like to first thank the other candidates for running a good solid race and helping bring forward the wide variety of issues important to our district.

Secondly, a big debt of gratitude goes out to ALL the people who helped with the campaign. It takes a great team to run and win a campaign and we had the best!

Lastly, THANK YOU to the voters who put their faith in Harry to lead District 69 and New Mexico. With some hard work and common sense, we can create a prosperous and vibrant way of life for our citizens.
