We're back!
After almost twenty months, three-and-a-half semesters of college, a move, an 8-day stint working at a warehouse, another move, a complete collapse of our recording setup, returning to high school, swapping cars, getting a flat tire, getting that tire patched, having that patch fail the very next day, buying two more tires on top of that, paying $45 to the Missouri Departm...ent of Revenue, becoming way swamped in too many things at once, imagining that it was a certain person walking through the door when it was in fact someone completely different, and -- always -- envisioning the month after the month present before looking back to assess the changes and discrepancies, to shatter those intimate idealizations, and realizing that it's all been the same the entire time:
We're back -- and we have music for you all.
On Monday, June 2nd, we'll be releasing a new, 7-song EP entitled "Adoration". Songs for you, songs for us, songs for your moms and dads and sisters and brothers and nieces and nephews. Songs to reach out, songs to sink in.
"Adoration" will feature some excellent artwork by the wonderful Colleen Napolitano . . . and it may or may not be mere coincidence that the EP will be released on a particularly special for her. Also, as usual, we have made and will be distributing some hand-prepared, physical copies of this puppy, so if you would like in on some of that sweet tangibility, do let us know via some method of communication or another.
We'll post more info and whatnot over the course of the next 11 days. But we're pretty excited about this, and we hope that maybe you might be, too.
