GIVE THE DEVIL HIS DUE - Steve Hockensmith

Alanis McLachlan, reformed con artist turned tarot reader, gets paid for predicting the future--too bad she didn't see all the trouble in hers. First a figure from her past tries to drag her back into the life of crime she thought she'd le behind. Then a new suitor tries to sweep Alanis off her feet, threatening her on-again, off-again romance with hunky teacher Victor Castellanos. And there's the little matter of the ominous reading she gives to a new client, which could have deadly consequences. Danger is in the cards for Alanis, and she'll need all her skills at reading both people and tarot if she's going to survive.

We love this library, the staff & volunteers are always friendly & helpful, their childrens programs are wonderful. Only negative I can think of is that many of the movies are horribly scratched up & ...dont play properly, I wish they had a disk buffer to work on them. See More

We haven't had problems with this library until recently. A few days before Christmas, I returned an Interlibrary Loan book. A couple days later, I noticed it still listed as checked out on our onli...ne account. I went back to the library and spoke to someone about it. They brought over a guy who had been working the returns the evening we brought our book back. He said he recalled seeing the book and that he would locate it and fix the problems. Fast forward to six months later and we now get a $30 bill for this book. They apparently still can't find it and want us to pay for their mistake of losing it. Very disappointed in how the situation has been handled by Kelsea. See More

They have a great kids section although a lot of the movies are too scratched up to watch but that's not the library's fault just wish they had a repair machine or something. The staff is friendly and... helpful although true there's always going to be a cranky person whose job it is to shush people lol. They have themed crafts and activities and events that are something you can take your kids to do that won't cost you anything but time. Good system for checking out and happy about online renewals makes it easy to avoid fines. Although ALWAYS get a receipt emailed or printed to avoid any dispute about checked in or out items. Also great they are open on the weekends :-) will be going here as long as we live nearby :-) See More

We attended their Star Wars event and we were just blown away with such an amazing job they did! The craft stations, games, and Not to mention the many characters there to take pictures with was just ...more than we could imagine! Job well done and another reason we just love coming there. See More

Everyone has been super nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is the online Ebook system. You have to wait 3+ months for almost any book if it's remotely popular or good. I'm not sure how this ...could be remedied. See More

Watch out for one of the employees there. When you gp and check your items out there is an older woman that will grab your things out of your hands and treat you like the dumbest person on earth. Ver...y rude as well. See More
