Group Photos
To upload an existing photo or video to your group, make sure the photo or video is saved to your computer.
To share photos or videos with a group:
- From your News Feed, click Groups in the left menu and select your group. If you don't see Groups, click See More.
- Click
Photo/Video at the top of the group.
- When you're ready to share, click Post.
Any member of the group can add photos to a group album. Group photos are only visible to other members, and only group members can be tagged in group photos.
Group Events
To create an event for a group you're in:
- From News Feed click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
- Below your group's cover photo, click More
then click Events.
- Click Create Event in the top right.
- Fill in the details for your event and click Create.
Group Files and Docs
To add a file to a group:
- From your News Feed click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
- Click What's on your mind?.
- Click
then select Add File.
- Click Add File to select a file from your computer.
- Choose to say something about your file and then click Post.
Keep in mind anyone in the group can delete a file and that links to Dropbox files can be shared outside of the group.
Who can view, upload and download files depends on the group's privacy settings. Please review the Facebook Community Standards to learn more about the specific types of conduct and content we allow on Facebook.
To view group files:
- From your News Feed click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
- Click Files below the cover photo and select the file you want to view.
To upload a file to your group:
- From your News Feed click Groups in the left menu and select your group.
- Click Files below the cover photo.
- Click Upload File and select the file from your computer.
Keep in mind that all members of a group can view a group file. Admins and moderators can delete files posted by others.
