How do I share my live location in Messenger?
You can share your live location with friends in Messenger conversations to let them see where you are and when you'll arrive. When you share your live location, only the people in that conversation will be able to see where you are. Live Location tuns off automatically after a set amount of time and you can stop sharing your location at any time.
Note: To use Live Location on an iPhone, give Messenger 'Always' location access. Learn how to adjust your location settings.
- Open the conversation you want to share your location with
- Tap
> Location
- Tap Share Live Location
To stop sharing your location:
- Open the conversation
- Scroll to the message where you sent your live location
- Tap Stop Sharing
