Today I’d like to share a story of a customer named Holden who’s truly surprised and inspired us. After Holden left us a detailed, enthusiastic note on our Facebook page, I knew we had to connect. Holden and I caught up on the phone and had a blast talking about his life in Jefferson City, Missouri, a shared love for Underground Rap music, and most importantly, his powerful experience with Here One. Here’s a bit of what Holden had to say:

“My first impression, and I'll be hap...py to give another update in about a month or so, but my first impression is that every blind person needs to have a pair of these things. Also, everyone who loves music, etc. I love how I can have my favorite songs playing at a low volume but still hear it while I have a conversation with my wife and other people around me. Being blind and a music lover, when I go to restaurants I typically take a noise-canceling headset because those crowds are so loud. However it also makes interacting with the people around me difficult. Today, I was using Here One and I knew when the server put my plate on the table and was able to say thank you all while continuing to listen to my phone. This is so awesome. Rarely in this day and age do you find something that's honestly awesome, this is. I can't wait to see where else Here One comes in handy.

This week I’d like to introduce you to Daniel, our first Here Pioneer from Zurich, Switzerland. Daniel is a working professional, father, and collector of fine perfumes, having around 30-40 different scents in his home. Daniel found Here One while searching for wireless headphones online, and was moved by our Here Buds’ design and a curiosity to experience the embedded features. After spending some time with Here One, here’s what Daniel had to say:

“[I was particularly intere...sted in] music streaming linked with the possibility to still hear your surroundings. I was looking forward to using it in our open space office and i think it works and performs very well! It’s a great way to focus without being cut off completely. And I think the sound streaming quality is really good.

"The splashiest new feature, Smart Suggest, helps you tune your ears to your surroundings based on your location. If you’re wearing your buds while waiting for the F train, for example, your phone might buzz with a recommendation to turn on the subway filter that automatically mutes the screeching frequencies of the trains."

This week I’d like to introduce you to Max, our newest Here Pioneer living in California. Max has been enjoying listening to music and mixing in real world sound (something we call Layered Listening), enabling him to listen to his favorite tunes while staying aware of his surroundings, all in real time.
